Woodward Fund
Woodward Academy is among the best independent schools in the United States, and we set goals with that standard in mind every year.
During this academic year, tuition will underwrite only 90 percent of Woodward's operating budget. The balance will be met with a combination of income from endowment (4 percent), auxiliary revenue (2 percent) and, most importantly, the Annual Fund (4 percent).
The Annual Fund goal for this year is $1.85 million. The funds raised provide Woodward with the resources to pursue excellence at the broadest level. Each student, teacher and coach is in some way touched by the generosity of our donors.
Company Matching Gifts
Last year, Woodward Academy received more than $156,000 in matching gifts from 60 companies. You can request a matching gift form from your company’s personnel office. For additional information, please call Woodward’s Advancement office at 404.765.4030.
Donor Recognition
Woodward Academy publishes an Annual Donor Report, which lists each donor and the
funds to which they gave.
Gifts of $1,500 and above are recognized as members of the Woodward Society, which honors the commitment and leadership of our founders, Lucile and John Charles Woodward.
